"But seek ye first the "Kingdom of God" , and HIS righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33)
A simple command easy to hear yet difficult to truly receive in our hearts. Truly our Father knows what we have need of, sees our suffering and hears our prayers, yet we often lack faith not only in His word, but in His love. The enemy comes in and deceives us into thinking our loving heavenly Father is not concerned with what's happening in our lives on a "daily" basis. Literally, what the enemy of our soul and of the Kingdom of God has done, is "called those things that are not as though they are" and many of us have believed him! He has in his craftiness flipped the script or reversed the Word of God on us. Thus, making that which is true into a lie in our minds. God has established two priorities for mankind: The Kingdom of God and the Righteousness of God. First people of God, NOW is the time to "seek first the Kingdom of God", which is not temporal things, things that will perish, or can be taken away, it is the things of God. Since the Kingdom of heaven is the earthly sphere of the universal Kingdom of God, the two have almost all things in common. When God said , "whatsoever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven", God meant exactly that! Secondly, as the passage Matthew 6:33 also calls for seeking God's righteousness, we are to be rightly aligned relationally with God. Jesus emphasized the Kingdom and the need to be righteous that we may receive all God has for us. ". . . and all these things shall be added unto you" include our physical, emotional, social, psychological, financial and security needs, and anything else that pertains to life. Your highest priority and greatest desire should be to enter the Kingdom of God and thirst for a righteous relationship with Him. Matthew 5:6 tells us, "Blessed are those that hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled." We must remember man's first assignment was given by God in Genesis 1:26, to have dominion over the earth. This is God's plan for you. Understand you are to take dominion and not be dominated by the things of this world, your flesh or of the demonic, but use the authority, power and privileges given to us as children of the Lord God Most High! TODAY, let it be the end of your bowing down to oppression, depression, self-pity, poverty, lack, insecurity, loss of identity, sense of inadequacy, condemnation and a victim mentality and rise up into your rightful position in the Kingdom. We pray right now the Scriptures over you all, in the name of Jesus, "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, Which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come." Amen.
Beloved, know for a certainty and believe the Word of the Lord that truly He has raised you up together and caused you to sit together in "heavenly places in CHRIST JESUS", of whom all things have been placed under His feet. Take your rightful position with the King of Kings and possess, dominate and influence those around you and the world with the Word and things of God! God has already called you to be fruitful, blessed and a blessing, will you answer His call? We pray you do hear the call of the Lord and answer, yes! We love you much in JESUS,

CRUSHED FOR THE ANOINTING
Elder Mae Davis
D.I.V.A.S. Monthly Inspiration - November 2009
When GOD anoints you there is a process and there are challenges you will face in order to reach the full potential of your calling, [your purpose and your destiny]. God will interrupt your life of mediocrity and cause you to walk in the spirit of excellence. When it looks like the whole world is coming against you and temptation is all around you, God will make a way of escape – There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it (I Corinthians 10:13). You may be in the fire now, but the anointing of God in you is so powerful that you are not consumed by it. Your enemies can be encamped about you; family and friends will not understand the anointing of God on your life; and there are times that you may be [crushed] spiritually and emotionally, but God, will give you angels to take charge over you (Psalms 91:11).
God told Samuel, go to Jessie’s house, and anoint the next king over Israel. Samuel passes the horn of oil over David’s seven brothers, but nothing poured from the horn; Jesse called David from the fields tending sheep then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward (I Samuel 16:13). [David] was content in his place of mediocrity, but God had a greater purpose for his life. Understandably, David could not foresee that his being anointed king would produce jealousy, isolation, falling into temptation, murder, a dysfunctional family; and the death of loved ones all because of his anointing.
The pouring of [oil] is symbolic of being set apart, being consecrated for Kingdom work. But the oil, which comes from the olive fruit, has to endure extreme pressure--before it is made into the precious oil that is used as anointing, like when David was anointed as king. Let’s examine the process of turning the olive from a piece of solid fruit into oil. There are four (4) stages involved in the process of extracting the oil from the olive fruit:
Stage 1 is harvesting. Traditionally when olives were harvested, the tree is [beaten] with a stick or rod causing the olives to fall to the ground--this can be likened to adversity. Many times when adversity comes, we are so quick to give the devil credit for situations that come into our lives. But oftentimes adversity will come to mold and shape our character. There may be a need for God to take a spiritual hammer and chisel off the spirits of pride and un-forgiveness–things that can delay your destiny. Yes, the devil does have his assignment and God may just allow him to touch your world, but he will give you double for your trouble, so the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning (Job 46:12). Never “playa hate” (regret) your past, it can become your ministry. Learn to praise God in your broken places because it is the power of your breakthrough “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.” (Isaiah 61:3).
Stage 2 is separating [sifting]. The second stage is the separation of the sticks, twigs, and leaves from the harvested olives–this can be likened to our separating ourselves from the former things of our past. Many times God is trying to separate us from people who have not been chosen to take this journey with us, but we will try to hold on to them. We hold on to old surroundings; old lovers, and old friendships–things that are no longer connected to our assignment. God wants to transform us, by the renewing our minds (Romans 12:2). You must be very careful about your surroundings. Spiritual discernment is the key. Discern whom you are to be connected with. Satan will assign a person you expect the least to spew the “venom of negativity” all over your vision. WARNING! BE CAREFUL WHO YOU SHARE YOU VISION WITH! It does not mean that they are bad people – they could be saved and love God with all their hearts, but they have no understanding of the power of the tongue [words]. You need believers that will touch and agree so that it can be established [manifested], therefore, partner [connect] yourself with those who will speak life into the atmosphere.
Stage 3 is cleansing. The washing of the olive fruit; the olive must be cleansed from any pesticides and dirt particles that could contaminate the oil during processing. The best way to cleanse your spirit is through the “washing” [cleansing power] of the word. He wants to wash us with the word, that we might be sanctified and influenced by the Holy Spirit to live in holiness (Ephesians 5:26). After you have been harvested, separated, and washed–once you get emotionally, physically, and spiritually depleted--you are ready for the last stage in the processing “crushing.”
Stage 4 is crushing. In the ancient process of oil extraction, once the olive fruit was harvested, separated, and washed they were ready to put under extreme pressure – in a very large wooden mortar with a stone mill and crushed; the fleshly-layered walls of the olive fruit would produce a paste. Mixing or beating the paste prepared it for separation of the oil from the pomace (pulpy material remaining after the extraction of oil). This process maximized the amount of oil to be extracted from the paste by breaking up the oil/water mixture and forming large oil droplets.
It is not by chance that Jesus went to Gethsemane to pray. Gethsemane means oil press (Mark 14:32), it is the name of an olive yard at the foot of the Mount of Olives. The pressure Jesus endured by having to die for humanity–past, present, and future–all came down on Him in Gethsemane. The agony that He experienced displayed his humanity. When Jesus called upon His Father to release Him from his assignment the agony of His prayer was so earnest that great drops of sweat fell as blood (Luke 22:44), but the Messiah–the Anointed One–spoke to the Father–if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: NEVERTHELESS not my will, but thy will be done (Luke 22:42). Jesus felt as though he was alone–the disciples did not have enough strength to support him at His most-trying hour and the worst of all Jesus was betrayed with a kiss (Luke 22:48). He was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities (Isaiah 53:5). Just as the olive‘s final process is to be crushed to press out the oil; Jesus the–the Anointed One–allowed his flesh and bones to be crushed; a crown of thrones crushed on his brow – all so that He could pour his precious anointing; that through the Holy Spirit, we would have the power to overcome our adversities. Likewise, you are also called to fulfill your purpose and destiny. Although, you are sometimes knocked to the ground, separated from family and friends, often times have to repent of your sins when you have fallen short, and [crushed] by adversity; remember, after all you have done to stand just stand (Ephesians 6:13). You are anointed to do ministry; save your marriage; save your family; start your own business; get out of debt; receive your healing; and be a witness for the Lord. Beloved – although you may be crushed by adversity, know that the Holy Spirit has given you the power to fulfill your calling, your purpose, and your destiny in the Kingdom of God and in the earth.

(RPMI School of Ministry & Holy Spirit)
People have a tendency to listen only to what they want to hear. The Bible even tells us that. God’s Word informs us that "The heart is deceitful above all things."
In Ezekiel 12:2, God complained that "these people have ears to hear but they never hear eyes to see, but they never see for they are a rebellious house.”
God knew we would be like that and so repeatedly throughout scripture you can hear God say: "Listen to me! Listen to me!" Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that you may learn them, and keep them, and do them. Hear, O Israel the word which the LORD speaks unto you. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and a stranger’s voice they will not follow. Jesus said, “He that has ears, let him hear.” The Lord would not have us to be ignorant to the things of God. He wishes that none would perish but come into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Becoming As Little Children - Matthew 18:4 - Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
We can all learn from children. They are God’s gift of encouragement, assurance of his investment in the future, and instruments of example to adults. We are to come to Jesus with total trust. Little children "totally trust" until they have to be taught to "beware” in this corrupt world. If you ever held a newborn you see that child totally trusts and depends upon the adults in his/her life for everything. Total trust is based upon the assumption that "since you guys brought me into this world, I safely assume you will be providing what I need for growth and development. A bond develops that compares to no other bond in this world. Jesus said; “that’s how you should come to me with that kind of dependence, that kind of trust and I will honor that trust by responding to your faith and giving you eternal life.”
We are also to respond with a teachable heart. If you observe a toddler a five minute conversation will consist of a million questions "what’s this, that and why?" etc. Their eyes are full of wonder and they have such a capacity to learn. If a child is to grow and develop properly they must be taught basic life skills, as well as be introduced to their world. Without the interaction with adults to teach them, they would most likely become mentally deficient or socially disabled.
When we come to Jesus in total trust, we too then become "as a babe" spiritually and we are to be always ready to learn. We should come to Jesus eager to learn of Him and have a closer walk with Him just like a toddler is to learn about his/her environment. We should not come with pre-conceived notions or closed minds. We should come with teachable hearts eager to learn about him and grow in him.
With the Holy Spirit as our teacher, we can grow and develop spiritually into mature Christ-like individuals, which is our Father’s goal for us and hopefully our goal as well. When we come to Jesus with total trust and a teachable heart, Jesus promises tremendous benefits to name a few, Salvation, Constant companionship of the Holy Spirit, and Purpose.
Repentance – Romans 3:23 - "all have sinned" means that none can boast in their own righteousness, and none can assume a superior position - The ground in front of the cross is a level plane and there are no Big I’s and little u’s.
For some, the sins of others may victimize you in many different ways. Note these are nothing more than demonic spirits in operation:
- Someone passes an untrue rumor which damages your reputation – Gossip!
- A co-worker treats you unfairly, makes fun of you, or perhaps makes a nasty remark – Jealousy!
- Someone might take out their anger on you, lie to you, or steal from you, or mislead you - Deceiving!
- Worse yet, you may be brutalized, harassed, vandalized, abused or molested – Controlling!
They have sinned; he has sinned, she has sinned. Even with all of that this Scripture verse can’t be used merely to judge and condemn others with their alleged sin. The Scripture does not say, "They have sinned, or he or she has sinned", but rather, "All Have Sinned!"
Even in our sin nature it seems that all of us have the need to point the finger at someone else. That has been true every since Adam blamed Eve, and Eve tried to put the blame on the serpent. Ever since then, we have blamed them all, Adam, Eve and Satan.
"All have sinned" means me, and it means you. We must acknowledge and recognize that "all have sinned" isn’t the excuse we’re looking for to look down on others, nor is it a reason to excuse ourselves by saying, "What could I do, I’m only human."
But it simply means that you and I must come to the conclusion, "I have sinned" and repent for God’s forgiveness. This is a hard reality to consider and a hard message to give but it is the only way we can approach God. “Father, please forgive me of my sins,”
You Can Hear From God & Being Heard by God – God wants us to listen and be careful to obey so that it may go well with us. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, (even) the sure mercies of David. What God’s saying is - I want to bless you. I want to give you what your heart desires - but I can’t if you won’t listen. How bad do you want it?
God wants us to hear His still calm voice because that’s the only way we’ll receive all the blessings He wants to give us. We want it bad and struggle with this because our hearts are deceitful (we hear only what we want to hear, and we tend to put our priorities above His). Even the most righteous do this occasionally because even the most righteous has a deceitful heart.
We have to stay with God up close and personal so He can impart wisdom into us to be able to discern good from evil. James 4:8 tells us "Draw near to God and he will draw near to you." In other words there must be a relationship and proximity is critical - If you’re going to hear – you’ve got to be near! Pray my continued strength in the Lord.
